first up, ikea double bed and mattress. the bed is, i think, a malm from ikea. birch veneer. it has a slatted baseboard so you don't need a boxspring. it does not have a headboard. it's about seven or eight years old. the mattress is much newer, only a year old. it's an ikea sultan holmstra. so comfortable, excellent back support.
